    The Platform Integrations Engineer is a pivotal role in the Business Operations team at WorkWave as it continues to refine its business processes, data, and integrations as it relates to operations across the board at WorkWave. This role will be instrumental in optimizing systems, tools and data vital to WorkWave’s corporate initiatives and success.


    The Platform Integrations Engineer is a technical role within the Business Operations team that will focus on building out API integrations between our internal ecosystem of business software and systems in order to have necessary data flow from one platform to another as needed, to ensure data integrity is maintained, and to allow for optimized workflow for internal users in the relevant systems. Familiarity and practical experience with API development is required.


    This person must be a highly motivated, self-sufficient, technically minded organized professional with quality communication skills to collaborate with our system administrators and business units to create and maintain streamlined work and data flows.


    • Become familiar with current setup/structure/configuration of internal software/systems within WorkWave and have full understanding of dependencies among the systems and downstream impacts of any required changes.
    • Obtain a strong understanding of fundamental business processes in order to design and deploy “best-practice” solutions that are scalable and anticipate future business requirements and technology growth.
    • Assess current integrations and determine if they are sufficient or need refactoring
    • Work closely with the System Administrators to create system integrations as needed based on corporate initiatives.
    • Assist in the automation of tasks and responsibilities for our organization’s users between systems.
    • Ongoing troubleshooting of existing or developed integrations and refinements when required
    • Responsible for the integration of systems including (but not limited to):
      • Netsuite
      • Celigo (NS - SF Pipe)
      • Marketo (and related tools/applications)
      • Salesforce (and related tools/applications)
      • Tableau
      • Host Analytics
      • Expensify
      • Namely
    • Responsible for the creation and dissemination of technical documentation concerning any integrations created for the System Administrators
    • Responsible for fast-paced on-time delivery of all initiatives related to systems in the roles purview


    • 2+ years experience in working on various platform integration solutions
    • Hands-on experience with REST APIs and JSON
    • Familiarity with asynchronous notifications like HTTP callbacks / webhooks a plus
    • Familiarity with with CRM/ERP APIs
    • Familiarity with REST API documentation tools a plus
    • Knowledge of SQL coding/querying skills including Microsoft SQL Server 2008/2012/2014, T-SQL, MySQL, stored procedures, functions, triggers, indexes and scheduled tasks
    • Proven ability to research and assess potential integration solutions in support of new business requirements. - Demonstrated ability to analyze and provide effective problem solving of Business as Usual requirements, assessing whether standard functionality can be used and identifying reasonable custom solutions where needed
    • Highly capable of developing and maintaining relationships
    • Self-starter; passion for solving challenges

    • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while meeting deadlines
    • Results-driven with strong attention to detail
    • Strong technical skills
    • Solid communication skills – both written/oral

    A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
