    WorkWave is looking for a motivated, organized, energetic, and technical professional with strong managerial skills.  This role requires a strong technical background and experience handling GPS modems or similar IOT devices.  

     

    This is a hands-on position! The Fulfillment Manager will spend much of the day processing orders with the Fulfillment Technicians.  

     

    Responsibilities

    • Manage the order fulfillment process including order entry, administration, and shipping
    • Oversee the order tracking process and ensures orders are processed in accordance with the organization's standards
    • Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost
    • Manage, train, and support a team of fulfillment technicians
    • Create schedules for warehouse team members to ensure appropriate coverage for high volume, holidays, and sales promotions
    • Respond quickly to special requests from sales, marketing, and other departments requiring support
    • Assist customer support by addressing customer concerns and inquiries regarding lost or damaged shipments, order quality, and processing errors
    • Perform inventory counts and prepare reconciliation schedules
    • Perform bulk activation, cancellation, or migrations by working with the major wireless carriers
    • Ensure deployed GPS hardware has correct configuration and firmware
    • Promote a positive working environment through open communication, respectful interactions, and by creating a fun and exciting workplace for the fulfillment technicians
    • Offer product or workflow alternative solutions where appropriate
    • Consistently deliver results “the right way” both personally and professionally, instilling confidence in your intentions and those of our organization

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • 3+ years of experience in managing a team in a warehousing environment
    • Expert knowledge of warehousing functions, including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control
    • Experience with GPS Wireless technology
    • Experience troubleshooting and managing a deployment of GPS modems
    • Experience with Calamp devices preferred
    • Must be a self-starter and a team player! We need someone who takes initiative, is proactive, and truly enjoys working in a fast-paced environment!
    • Strong time management and attention to detail
    • Familiar with standard small parcel carriers, including UPS, USPS, FedEx, and DHL
    • High energy and willingness to consistently support the team with a positive approach
    • Ability to explain technical and/or process-heavy information in “real-world” terms to non-technical end users
    • Clear, direct and empathetic communication in both one-on-one and team settings; able to deal effectively when needing to reduce tension or conflict
    • Willingness to be part of a team…cooperating with others to get the right answers quickly
    • Maintains stable performance while under pressure or opposition; handling stress with grace and tact
