    The role of Partner Development & Alliance Manager is a critical role within the North America Sales Team.  This position will be held by an individual with proven experience in developing new, deep, wide and sustainable relationships with business partners, interfacing with senior levels of an organization with the ability to sell the strategic relevance of the Route Manager and GPS proposition that results in partners advocating or recommending the WorkWave Route Manager suite of solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the research and definition of a group of potential partners across a wide sector of industries that offer the quickest and most sustainable path to net new revenue, including companies in the CRM, GPS, ERP, eCommerce industries with a focus on transportation and logistics.   
    • Business development responsibilities for finding and contacting new VAR partners , as well as, ongoing management of these relationships.
    • Work with an assigned set of focused partners to build the required relationships to create mutually beneficial business plans leading to workable opportunities.
    • Working closely with channel marketing to provide the partner network with material that helps them drive new business.
    • Identify and build pipelines from the associated base of allocated partners.
    • Assist with the ongoing product education and management of WorkWave Route Manager.
    • Become an expert in the WorkWave Route Manager solution platform to be able to assist partners with initial product demonstrations.

    Qualifications

    • Understanding of the transportation and logistics and field service industry and how routing and GPS can play a key role in winning new business and expanding partner solutions.
    • 5 – 10 years combination experience of partner development, general business  sales and in ever increasing roles of responsibility and accountability.
    • Has proven and demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and manage executive level relationships with little to no direction
    • Has experience in developing and managing complex, strategic partnering relationships.
    • Has a highly organized working style: ability to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously through a systematic approach
    • Will be capable of determining the effectiveness of an approach and able to make the appropriate adjustment to achieve maximum results.
    • Experience as a quota driven executive in both expanding the number of partners and driving revenue across these channels.
    • Potential for travel up to 25%
