The Director, Marketing Automation is a key role within the marketing organization, as we further enhance our marketing automation programs that directly contribute to our growth. You will create and manage scalable, repeatable strategies and processes to enable closed-loop lead generation, ensuring that all marketing investments can be tracked and measured from initial engagement all the way through to closure.  You will be a key member of the Demand Generation team, working closely with the rest of Corporate Marketing (Solutions Marketing, Demand Generation, etc) and other functions such as Business Operations, to help drive pipeline for our solutions across the lifecycle (from acquisition to retention and advocacy).  As the leader of our marketing automation strategy, this professional will need to stay current on best practices, latest technologies and processes for demand generation.


  • Create and manage a buyer-centric Marketo architecture for automated nurture programs across channels through the customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain and optimize lead scoring programs/model based off of buying cycles, personas, analytics and sales/service feedback.
  • Lead the successful execution of ongoing email marketing campaigns and the implementation of new Marketo programs to drive pipeline and conversion.
  • Manage the contact and targeting strategy for campaigns through behavioral and demographic data, as well as campaign analytics.
  • Develop testing strategies for multi-step nurture programs in Marketo across segments.
  • Partner with business operations to optimize and maintain Marketo and Salesforce integration, lead management (scoring/routing of leads) and the health of the contact database.
  • Design and document existing processes and implement improvements to enhance productivity.
  • Develop and manage training for all technical and non-technical users.
  • Analyze campaign/pipeline performance based on reporting to optimize programs.



  • 5-8 years experience in marketing operations, demand generation, or campaign management
  • 2-4 years of management experience
  • Marketo Certification and experience is required
  • Salesforce experience is required
  • Experience in database management including list building/maintenance
  • Successful track record of implementing and managing Marketo programs and processes
  • Marketo Revenue Cycle Modeler & Analytics knowledge and experience

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing or related field is required.
