This position is currently based at our home office in Neptune Township, New Jersey.  WorkWave’s headquarters will be relocated to the historic Bell Works complex located in Holmdel, New Jersey during early 2017.  There are tons of great places to live in and around the area!

 

Responsibilities

  • Payroll Support and HRIS:
    • Processes wage and salary changes and payments associated with commission or incentive compensation plans.
    • Assists with bi-monthly payroll processing - ensuring calculations, deductions, and withholdings are accurate.
    • Assists with maintaining up to date and accurate records within our HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Onboarding:
    • Collect new hire paperwork and process E-Verify, state reporting and I9 forms. Send out new hire onboarding communications.
    • Conduct portions of new hire orientation in support of the VP of Talent as needed.
  • Benefits:
    • Possess an expert level of knowledge as it relates to all Company benefits. Stay abreast of industry related trends, laws and changes.
    • Assist employees with understanding the organization’s benefit offerings.
    • Serve as a liaison between the Company, Employees, Insurance Carriers and Brokers for such programs.
    • Coordinate with Administrative Assistants and benefit representatives for the purpose of scheduling benefit related meetings in all of the offices.
    • Strive to ensure employee/family comprehension of the benefit programs through communication and counseling as situations arise.
    • Help to design, evaluate and modify benefits policies to ensure that programs are in line with market practices, competitive and in compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Assist with reconciliation of monthly insurance invoices.
  • Perform other duties supporting all aspects of the Talent Department

Qualifications

  • Excellent analytical, project management, problem resolution and client service skills required
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal persuasion/communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to maintain an extremely high level of confidentiality
  • Advanced Excel skills with applied experience required
  • Ability to work effectively across teams and collaborate with others
  • Understanding of FLSA regulations and experience evaluating jobs for exemption a plus
  • High attention to detail
  • Exhibits good judgment and logical reasoning
  • 1-3 years related experience
